We are into the last week of our jobs in Broken Hill and frantically packing and boxing things.
Things we will miss (will add more as we think of them):
- all the friends we have made
- friendliness of town folkle
- neighbours
- 2 min drive to work
- The Palace Hotel
- sunrise over Browne Shaft
- The Temple of Fitness
- easy lifestyle
- Bush Coffee and friends
- 10plus hr drive to Sydney or 6hr drive to Adelaide for health care.
- always getting sunburnt
- waking up with a dry throat
- tin roofs, tin fences, tin walls, tin sheds, tin canopies, tin everything
- cheeseslaw - replace cabbage with cheese
- shopkeepers pretending things don't exist when they don't stock it
